I much prefer Blonde. I always have. Lol.

So I’ve always been a sucker for blonde haired, blue eyed boys.  Throw in a swimmer’s build and white skin and I’m just in heaven.  I can go into more detail about that later though in another blog.  The Blonde I’m talking about today is Starbucks new blonde roast coffee.  It’s mellow, lighter, and not as pungent as some of their other darker blends and I really like it.  If you’re a fan of softer roasts you might want to give it a try.

The legacy of Joe Paterno should be preserved and protected

I can’t tell you how sad I was to learn that former Penn State coach and cultural icon Joe Paterno passed away this weekend. Joe Paterno was a giant of a man, a coaching legend, and a passionate leader that deserves our respect and gratitude. His accomplishments at Penn State and in the his local community are unparalleled and he will continue to have an impact on college athletics for years to come.  I believe wholeheartedly that his legacy should be preserved and protected and his memory cherished for his body of work and sacrifice.
